Installing WordPress Using Fantastico Deluxe

Learn How to Install WordPress Using Fantastico Deluxe

There are just a few steps to installing a brand new WordPress blog using an application called Fantastico Deluxe. It is important to use a Web Host that provides cPanel when you host your blog domain with them. Within cPanel there is an application called Fantastico Deluxe. Take a look at this video for more information.

Why Use Your Own Domain When Installing with Fantastico Deluxe?

When installing your blog my personal belief is that you own your domain rather than creating your blog with WordPress. This will give you much greater control of your blog and it also looks a lot more professional. It’s important to use a domain name that is pertinent to your company and the brand you are trying to create. Once you own the domain and it is hosted (I would suggest Hostgator, the host that I use for all of my sites) you can then easily install the blog on that domain using Fantastico Deluxe.

As you can see in the image to the left, when you click on Fantastico Deluxe in cPanel  you will be taken to a page that looks pretty much like this one. Click on Fantastico at the top of the page and follow the directions. You will need your domain name and url for the installation of the blog.

It’s also important to know that you’ll need to update your blog with a new theme, plug-ins and content. The installation only provides the most basic theme. You can learn much more by downloading our new 56 pg. eBook, “The Internet Trifecta”. Just fill out the form on the right side of this page or if you’re viewing this somehow elsewhere just go to TwitterRight Blog.

The best part is that Fantastico Deluxe is FREE!
