The Internet Trifecta Part I – How To Make Money On Twitter – Why is Free So Important?

In my last post I talked about six criteria I used to select the three applications I use in the Internet Trifecta; Twitter, WordPress and YouTube. The first criteria was cost.

Now this may seem a bit sophomoric but after years of working and playing on the Internet I was just sick and tired of all of the scams and nonsense I experienced when trying to find that one application I needed to get my business going in the right direction. I can’t tell you the number of times I was taken for a ride by some slick Internet marketer who just repackaged someone else’s material, put on a new cover and then sold it. What was even worse were the monthly membership programs that made all kinds of promises but never kept a single one (more on this in another post).

I was fortunate in that I was able to 1) get past most of this with my bank account intact and 2) get refunds for most of the products I did purchase. But, I don’t want you to make the same mistakes. So, I decided that using Free applications with proven track records was the way to go with The Internet Trifecta.

Just for the record, here are a couple of suggestions that may help you avoid the traps I fell into when I was just starting out.

  1. Never buy anything without first checking it out on Google. Just type in the name of the product, the author etc. and see if there are any negative stories or comments. You can’t always believe what you read but if there are several accounts of abuse, STAY AWAY.
  2. Never buy anything without at least a thirty or sixty refund.
  3. Never buy anything with check or cash.
  4. Never buy anything without using ClickBank or PayPal if possible. These companies are truly legit and will automatically refund your money as long as it falls within the refund period.
  5. Keep track of all products and the refund policy especially the time period for getting your money back. I’ve made this mistake and there are lots of marketers out there that will not stand by their products and refund easily.
  6. Do not count on email to get  refund. You will be disappointed.
  7. Finally, this is not a gym membership. If you don’t use the product or don’t think it is worth the money, ASK FOR A FULL REFUND!

The other nice part about Free is that for most people starting out money is an issue. I know that because I’ve been there myself. Instead of spending your hard earned cash on the actual application, you can decide where to put your funds when it comes to some of the additional products you will need to automate the entire process. There are free ways to do this as well but, as with most things, they just don’t work as well. I’ve tried to make sure that even these add-ons are very cost effective and really do the job.

You can actually see some of the success I’ve had (and actually monitor it if you have nothing else to do) by checking out my Twitter account at http://www.twitter.com/caryganz and my YouTube Channel at http://www.youtube.com/caryganz. Both of these grow daily with targeted followers and visitors with little or no attention on my part.

Over the coming days we’ll talk more about the remaining five (5) criteria for application selection and hopefully, this will start to make some sense to you so that you can jump onboard and start having the life style you want and deserve. It WILL NOT happen overnight. It WILL take hard work, diligence and effort. But in the end, it will be worth the trip.
