Traffic on Automation with AutoBlogging

A topic that seems to be hitting the internet airwaves a lot recently is AutoBlogging. With the ever increasing need to find new and predictable ways to generate traffic to blogs and websites, new products have hit the email circuit. Some of these deserve a second look…..

What is AutoBlogging?

Basically AutoBlogging is pretty much as the name sounds. It is the ability to set up one or more blogs and set them on autopilot with content, monetization and SEO. The concept is that you set up all of these simple blogs, fill them with content so that the search engines just love you and then you place appropriate sales widgets and banners etc on those blogs with the hope that you will earn a little bit (or possibly much more) off money off of each blog. Multiply that small amount by lots of blogs all working with little or no personal involvement and you have a very nice little (or big) online business.

In order to start autoblogging you need to have software that provides this kind of functionality. It needs to help you set up the blogs, fill them with content and income producing banners etc. and do all of this automatically. There are several applications out there that provide some or all of these solutions.

Automatic Content for You AutoBlogs

In this brief post let’s just concentrate on getting content for you blog without your having to write posts on a recurring basis. That by itself can be a full time job. Yes, I know that since I write all of these posts, for better or worse, by myself. TwitterRight is not an autoblog, Quite the contrary, I felt from the very beginning that I wanted to really be part of the process rather than just posting some one elses thoughts and ideas. Every once in a while I will post guest articles where appropriate but in general most of the posts are my own.

Now, that is not to say that using copyright free articles etc is not providing a service. There is a ton of great information out there and just providing it in one place does enhance the education of your readers even if it’s not your own.

So, how can you find this content and have it automatically placed in your blog in such a way as to:

  1. Obey the rules of the provider.
  2. Obtain rapid and consistent placement in the search engines
  3. Provide targeted information for your visitors.

Total Traffic Annihilation

Total Traffic Annihilation is a WordPress plug-in that is installed in the same manner as all other plug-ins. Once installed and activated it provides a very simple way to select articles or RSS feeds based upon keywords and categories appropriate for you particular niche. It then posts them on a scheduled basis to your blog, automatically. Sounds real simple but trust me to get this to work and work predictably is not an easy task. I’ve tried a couple of applications and so far this is by far the most efficient and effective.
